At Casa Ghiorsi, we have deliberately chosen to keep only a small number of animals of each species. It's not about quantity – it's about quality and genuine care. We believe that a close relationship with our animals creates the most meaningful experiences – both for our family and for our guests.
Our animals are not simply attractions; they are part of our family and our way of life. Every morning they receive fresh feed, clean water, and plenty of love. As our guest, you're welcome to help with feeding, petting, and caring for the animals – it's one of the highlights of your stay.

Our chicken coop is always buzzing with life! Our flock includes Plymouth Rocks, Marans, and Sussex hens – each with their own character and habits.
Dario, our proud rooster, watches over them all with his striking white plumage and handsome black tail feathers. He's a natural leader who keeps the flock calm and well-organized.
The hens absolutely love scratching in the soil and are always curious about visitors. Feeding the chickens is hugely popular with children – they come running the moment they hear the rattle of the feed bucket!
Bonus: When our hens have surplus eggs, fresh, farm-fresh eggs are available for purchase in our farm shop.
Amanda and Vib spend their days peacefully grazing in fresh pasture and enjoying the good life under open skies.
Our cows are calm and patient – perfect if you'd like to learn about them up close. You can watch them contentedly chewing cud, and with patience, you might even get a chance to pet them gently.
Beyond their charm, Amanda and Vib play an important role in farm biodiversity and help maintain a healthy insect population. Amanda was born here on the farm in 2022, and experiencing farm life alongside our cows is truly unforgettable for the whole family.
Molly, our charming wild rabbit with her beautiful brown coat, is another beloved member of the farm family.
With her large ears and curious nose, she's an absolute favorite with children. Molly loves fresh carrots and crisp lettuce, and she'll come out to socialize when she feels safe and secure.
Since joining us in 2024, she's lived wild in our garden and surrounding fields, sometimes eating alongside the chickens. It's a magical experience for both children and adults to witness how close you can get to her with patience, gentleness, and quiet respect.
You'll often find Molly enjoying grass in front of the annex during early mornings – a perfect time to observe her peacefully. We're hoping to eventually find Molly a companion!
Our small, close-knit horse family includes Aicha, Tarok, Lyn, Leo, and Rosa, our Haflinger. Each brings their own personality and charm to the farm.
Aichais our impressive cold-blooded horse – a true treasure. Calm, the natural leader of the herd, yet wonderfully gentle with people. Her long, beautiful mane and gentle curiosity make her perfect for both children and adults wanting an up-close horse experience.
Leo, our cheeky and spirited pony, loves action and adventure. He's ideal for those with some riding experience who want a more lively partner.
Tarok, a sweet Welsh Cob, and Lyn, our little Shetland pony, are the heart of our team. Lyn is small, remarkably calm, and absolutely perfect for our youngest guests. Together, they're the ideal pair for children's riding experiences – traffic-safe, reliable, and genuinely kind.
Our horses look forward to riding adventures and peaceful treks with you.
On our sun-drenched pastures, our small flock of sheep with their beautiful, curly black wool grazes contentedly. You'll meet Shaun, our impressive ram, along with his four companions: Ribbon, Flower, Bellis, and Fiona.
With their distinctive black, curly wool and naturally curious nature, they're genuinely delightful to watch. They love grazing on green fields overlooking the sea and are always keen to greet visitors.
Our sheep are calm and friendly – children can safely get close and learn about their care and habits. In spring, adorable little lambs arrive, and they're absolutely irresistible to our young guests!
Our sheep are surprisingly affectionate and playful – they sometimes behave more like dogs than sheep, with an endearing love of cuddles and attention.
Una and Tess are our two spirited Border Collies with striking black and white coats. With intelligent eyes and constantly wagging tails, they're the family's faithful companions and the farm's watchful guardians.
Both dogs love long beach walks, play, and receiving plenty of affection. They're friendly, energetic, and absolutely wonderful with children. Una is so excited by visitors that she literally "smiles," while Tess will definitely let you know with a friendly bark if she thinks she's not getting enough attention!
Note:Heidi is a certified dog trainer and is happy to help any children or adults who aren't familiar with dogs but would like to befriend Una and Tess.
After a day filled with animal experiences and farm adventures, retreat to your comfortable room in our cozy annex or experience the magic of luxury glamping in our tent. Both offer you overnight stays surrounded by our beloved animals, with stunning garden views overlooking the sea.
Wake each morning to the sound of horses in the pasture, the rooster's crow, and gentle waves – the perfect way to start each day of your family farm holiday.
